I've watched this:
http://sites.google.com/site/io/rapid-development-with-python-django-and-google-app-engine
after that video I'm not so sure, if google appengine is so cool. It gives quite much, but also limits quite much at the same time.
And that samples in python, that initialization of Django, and that empty __init__.py files - what a development overhead ;)
